What to do when your washing machine dies on you

Milan-Barcelona flight is a 7 day pattern and you should be able to imagine the amount of clothes that needs to be washed when I got home.

Upon touching down, the most dreadful news reached my ear!

My washing machine died!

THE HORROR!!

*screaming Nnnnnnooooooooooo*

Imagine 

Milan = hot sweltering weather = smelly clothes

*uggghhh.. yucks*

Well, the simplest solution one can have when your washing machine goes kaput would be to send your clothes to the laundry. But waittt!!

 Do you know to wash one piece of blouse sets you back at SGD3.50, trousers at SGD4.50 and load wash is SGD5.00 per kg?

Imagine how much can it cost when you got like

6 t-shirts

1 sweater

3 shorts

5 blouses

2 kebaya uniform

2 jeans

1 maxi skirt

2 dress

quite a handful of lingerie

IT WILL COST A BOMB!!

I definitely cannot afford to wash all my clothes using laundry service cos

1. it cost way too much one shot

2. turnaround time is way too long, like 5 working days

As I looking through the list of different laundry services that are available in Singapore, I found my solution!

Systematic Laundromat

This is the only laundry in Singapore that offer self service wash & dry services! You know those self service styled laundry you see in America shows, yes!

You slot the coins into the washing/dryer machine, viola! Washing clothes is a easy pea!

To wash clothes, it cost only SGD5.00 and to dry, it cost SGD1.00 for every 10 mins! 

The best part about the washing process is that it uses warm water, so clothes comes out super clean!

The best part about the drying process is that you only need about SGD3.00 to get dried clothes!!

AWESOME-NESS!!

Lost luggage incident

Imagine..

You, walking with high spirit towards the baggage belt after a grueling 10 hours flight back from Johannesburg. Six long days away from home, away from your comfy bed and your beloved throne a.k.a. toilet bowl!

As you wait for your luggage, you greet goodbye and thanks to those that spent those six days with. After waiting at the belt for almost 20 minutes, you realised that you are the only one left at the baggage belt and there isnt anymore luggage rolling out from it!

Oh yeah, HELL BROKE LOOSE IN ME!!

*red represent uncontrollable anger*

My luggage is MISSING!!

*sob sob sob*

Apparently UNLUCKY me luggage was left behind by the cargo handlers back in Johannesburg, alongside with another 6 more passenger's belongings.

Me is not happy at all

Me had to dragged myself all the way to Lost & Found to complete the procedure below

1. Wait in queue

2. Complete a form

3. Wait in queue

4. Verify information

5. Wait in queue

6. Get documents

I dont like waiting after a bad day

*black clouds looms & a bolt of lightning strikes*

After 2 days of waiting, finally I got a call (ring ring) that my luggage is back in Singapore!

There is two ways to get the luggage back

1. They send to your home

2. Personally pick it up

Missy me isnt always at home thus I had no choice but to get my butt to the airport to collect my luggage personally. Again, the procedure went like this

1. Wait at information counter

2. SATS officer sends information to Airport Police

3. Walk downstairs to wait in queue at the Airport Police station

4. Get a verification document & pass

5. Walk upstairs to enter Lost & Found in Arrival Hall

6. Hands passport over to Airport Police

7. Walk super far to Lost & Found department

8. Finally collected my long lost luggage

9. Walk super far to exit Arrival Hall

10. Collect passport from Airport Police

11. Hitch a taxi to go home

Me seriously think that luggage should be handled well as lost luggage means alot of trouble and hassle to those who had their luggage misplaced.

By the way, if you do go to Johannesburg, there is a chance that your luggage may be misplaced as misplaced luggage incidents happens on a daily basis!

Bunny in South Africa!

As title suggests, bunny is stuck in South Africa now and wont be home till Thursday morning (which is a long more way to go)

Bunny has already book for Lion Safari tour on Tuesday morning and she cant wait to shoot... (something sounds wrong) erm, take photos of the BIG 5!!

Today, bunny and her fellow colleagues went to a nearby mall for lunch and drystore and bunny realizes something funny when she goes to hypermarket!

Let loose bunny in the hypermarket with a pocketful of ka-chings, she will end up buy half (yes, HALF) of the hypermarket items!

Quite an hilarious sight seeing bunny carrying a lot of shopping loots while juggling her backpack and mobile phone!

Okok, bunny will continue her adventure of South Africa when she finishes her tour!
